Surrounded on all side by truly outstanding locations - from golden beaches to Iron Age hill forts.
The Valley is wild and free and we encourage you to enjoy the digital detox that we can provide. From jumping in clean burns, to scrambling up the Hen Hole or taking a picnic upon Great Hetha, the valley offers a chance to connect with nature.
There is no vehicle access to the Valley unless you have purchased a vehicle permit. You can park at the car park at Hethpool free of charge and from there enjoy the valley on foot or via bicycle. If you're looking to stay longer, we have four holiday cottages and a bunkhouse available to rent.

This traditional harled Northumbrian stone farm house which sits alone on the foot of Cheviot is surrounded by beautiful and totally unspoilt scenery with panoramic views from all windows.
