Coldburn Self Catering Cottage

This lovely cottage is hidden away in its own walled garden by the Lamden burn.

 

 

Downstairs:
Attractive dining kitchen with handmade pine units and hardwood surfaces, gas/electric range, dishwasher, fridge and microwave, tiled floor and fantastic views. There is a small chest freezer in the outbuilding.
Delightful sitting room with open fire and superb views across the garden towards Cheviot.
Bathroom with Victorian roll top bath a hand held shower head (N.B. this is NOT a shower), basin, WC,

 

 

Upstairs:
The small staircase is narrow and would be a problem for those of limited mobility.
Double bedroom and twin bedroom, both rooms have combed ceilings and dormer windows over looking the garden and Cheviot. Large hanging cupboard on landing.

Electricity and full oil central heating included.
Open fire coal and logs provided.
Colour TV (No TV reception). DVD. player. CD Radio. Telephone.
Travel cot and highchair available on request.
Large enclosed and gated lawned garden with garden furniture.
The Cold burn flows down the side of the property and is accessed through a gate, there is a bench below the cottage by the stream for guests to enjoy a 'sundowner'.
Off road parking.
Beds have duvets, quilted bedspreads and electric blankets.
Linen and towels provided. Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer in shed.
Housekeeping during your holiday by arrangement.
Dogs are welcome downstairs in the house only. There is a large raised sleeping platform for dogs in a separate kennel area. No cats.

 

All holidays may be booked to start any day of the week, minimum let is three nights.
